The Strand Dining Chair features high-end craftsmanship with hand-carved touches throughout its gently curved, solid oak frame. The highlight of this design is the intricate Danish cord seat and backrest, expertly woven to create a beautifully natural texture that also serves to give this chair a satisfyingly comfortable sit. The result is heirloom-quality furniture that’s made to love and made to last.
Details:
- Danish Cord woven seat and backrest is derived from natural wood fiber. This material is visually appealing and gets more comfortable over time.
- It is normal for solid wood to expand and shrink because of variations in environmental humidity. A consistent humidity level of approximately 50% is recommended to prevent cracks and surface splits.
- Wood is a natural material, with variations in grain pattern and colour that make each design unique.
- Frame crafted from solid Oak.
- Wood surfaces are finished with Rubio® Monocoat - a durable, matte, oil-based protector designed to highlight the beauty of natural wood.
- Wood finish is certified 0% VOC and is an all-natural, environmentally friendly product.
- Over time the finish will develop a rich patina which highlights the beauty of the natural wood.

Orders are usually shipped from the warehouse in 1-2 weeks and depending on where you live may take 1-2 weeks to arrive. Orders can be canceled within the 48hrs processing time. Gus Modern items may be returned up to 14 days from the recorded delivery date by the courier or the day the items were picked up from our store. All returns must be accompanied with the original receipt, unopened and in original packaging. No returns or exchanges on sale or discounted items.
