Open For Curbside Pickup and Local Delivery

Retail stores in Ontario that have front door access to a street are allowed to offer curbside pickup and deliveries.  We are excited and pleased to now offer a few free safe ways to receive your order until we are able to reopen to the public again.  We really appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate the new guidelines for non-essential businesses set out by the Government of Ontario and the City of Toronto. Our shipping methods may change as new guidelines are published and restrictions are lifted in Ontario.

Even though we are allowed to also open we have decided that we will continue to be closed to the public and only provide curbside and delivery options until the government further eases the social distancing guidelines. Right now we would only be permitted one customer at a time which that defeats the shopping experience that we designed for our store.

We currently offer three methods

  1. Free curbside Pickup at our front door anytime between 11am - 5pm from Tuesday to Friday. Orders placed online usually take 2-4hrs to be ready for pickup, we contact you as soon as they are ready. Please select pickup as your shipping option at checkout.
  2. Free contactless local delivery in Toronto for orders placed within a 20min drive of our store. We do local deliveries on Thursday only. We will contact you in advance to arrange a time. Please leave your phone number and email so that we can get in touch with you. We will not deliver unless there is someone home to accept the order. Let us know of any special instructions.
  3. Free shipping anywhere in Canada outside of our local delivery zone. 

Curbside Pickup

As of May 11th, 2020 we are happy to offer curbside pickup at our store located at 313 Roncesvalles Ave, Toronto, ON.

Once you place your order we will contact you either by phone or email when it’s ready, and you will be able to pickup from Tuesday to Friday from 11am to 5pm.

To insure the health and safety of our staff and customers all orders must be placed online or over the phone (416-537-2220 Tues-Fri 11am-5pm) and paid in advance of pickup, we will not accept payment at the store.

When ordering online at checkout please select pickup as your shipping option.

Please bring your proof of purchase with you to pickup. Once you arrive at the store you will see our curbside pickup area in our front entrance.

Please call us at 416-537-2220 or gently knock on the window to let us know when you arrived.

We ask that you keep the required social distance of 2m (6ft), while we put the order on the curbside pickup table. Once on the table we will step away and you can retrieve your order.

All curbside pickup protocol will be displayed in our window when you come to our store to pickup. Our stay will disinfect their hands and the curbside pickup table before and after every pickup.

Contactless Local Delivery

We offer free contactless delivery to most of Toronto within about a 20min drive of our store. If you’re in our local delivery zone we will email or call you to arrange a time to drop it off. We deliver on Thursdays only.

Please leave your telephone number when checking out because this is how we will contact you.  You will receive a text on the day we plan to deliver your items and again once your order has been dropped off. Please let us know if you have any special delivery instructions or directions.

What does contactless delivery mean?

  • We’ll deliver your item(s) to the front door, porch of your home or the lobby of your apartment or condo
  • If you live in a condo or apartment building, please note we will not be entering buildings. We will leaving deliveries at the entrance or with the concierge if they are easily accessible with zero contact.
  • When we arrive we will knock/buzz/text/call, and will greet you at your door while maintaining a six-foot social distance
  • Your signature won’t be required, our team will simply photograph your order at your doorstep as proof of delivery. We will wait until someone picks it up.
  • We will not leave items unless there is someone home to pick them up.

If you do not qualify for your local delivery we will ship with one of the major carries for now extra change. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking code.

Shipping Outside of Toronto

Please note that all orders outside of our local Toronto delivery zone ship between Tuesday - Friday during regular business hours. All items ship from our Roncesvalles store in Toronto using Canada Post. We try our best to ship within one business day of your order between Tuesday to Friday.

Please note that Canada Post is also experiencing delays due to the increased demand.  Anything that is time sensitive should be ordered in advance or contact us so that we can arrange expedited shipping for you.

With the increased demand in shipping across Canada we can not guarantee delivery times. Please get in touch with us if you haven't received your product after two weeks and we will look into it. We will also keep our eyes on the delivery times and delays and we will email you should we be notified of a longer than expected delay.

Additional Delivery Team Health and Safety Precautions

Our main priority is protecting the health and safety of our employees and customers. In addition to implementing contactless delivery and curbside pickup protocols, our own 313 Design Market Team and our delivery partners have implemented health and hygiene practices recommended by health authorities to ensure everyone stays safe.

Every one of our own delivery vehicles is equipped with key sanitary items, including latex gloves and sanitizing wipes. Work gloves will be worn by our team whenever boxes are handled.

Once the delivery is complete, drivers are required to practice good hygiene and use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer or sanitizing wipes that contain at least 60% alcohol (when soap and water are not available to wash their hands).

Our delivery drivers have also been instructed to stay home if they show any sign of flu-like symptoms, and we have policies in place to offer paid sick leave to these employees.

Our delivery partners are also taking extra precautionary measures. While exact steps differ between carriers, they’re all following procedures in accordance with the health and hygiene practices recommended by health authorities.

We’ll continue to follow recommendations from public health organizations to keep our team, partners, and customers safe and healthy.


For the safety of our staff and other customers, we trust that if you have a scheduled delivery you’ll get in touch with us if you’re experiencing any flu-like symptoms and need to be in isolation. We’re more than happy to hold your order and complete the delivery at a later date.
