Own a part of Canada's Modernist history with these heavyweight Tote Bags patterned with classic symbols from Canada Modern's archive. These totes are part of our upcoming 'Canada Modern' window installation for this year's DesignTO festival. There are 4 totes available, each with a unique historic logo, as well as a Lapel Pin Set. Everyone loves a good tote and no Canada Modernist should be without at least one in their collection. Part of the proceeds from sales will go to Canada Modern, an initiative preserving and celebrating Canada's modernist graphic design heritage.
Due to the current lockdown in Toronto, this installation has been postponed to a later date. Please check back for updates.
About the Logo:
Sudbury Transit began operation in n 1972, operated by the City of Sudbury Community Services Department and the Ontario Ministry of Transportation and Communications demonstration programme. Today the service has been rebranded and is known as GOVA. The symbol was created by Stuart Ash of Gottschalk+Ash in 1972. Stuart has very kindly provided his agreement to use the logo and is fully supportive of Canada Modern’s mission.
